Try These Southside Restaurants for Delivery & Takeout

Qing Xiang Yuan Dumplings
Sure you learned how to bake bread, bread and fry chicken, make hummus, and your grandma’s apple pie recipe; but doing the dishes afterwards still sucks.
Even with more time to spend in the kitchen the past few weeks you don’t want to spend them doing loads of dishes. Put your apron back on the hook and give your dishwasher a rest for a night.
Qing Xiang Yuan Dumpling
In Singapore, it’s popular for families to eat dumplings on Sundays as a weekly ritual. QXY is hands down the one place that would make a Singaporean family travel all the way to Chicago for a Sunday. Order at least a day ahead, because they only serve frozen take out dumplings and only if you order at least a day ahead.
No takeout for dumplings due to quality control, but takeout on other items:

A Place by Damao
You might have learned how to make your own hot sauce, but you can’t make it hot like the chefs at A Place by Damao. This Bridgeport staple is known for their spices that come from the streets of Chenngdu, which belongs to the Sichuan province, known as a world spicy food capital.

Seoul Taco
There are some things that are best left for professionals, because you can’t learn how to perfectly cook Korean-Mexican fusion. In fact, not many professionals do it well either, but at Seoul Taco they do. When you’re cooking, pick one or the other and let Seoul Taco do both.
They have 3 Chicagoland locations in Naperville, Hyde Park, and River North

Casa Indigo
If you’re a Pilsen resident, you’re in luck. Started by Gibson’s and Girl and the Goat chef alum, Casa Indigo frequently offers free delivery within its home ‘hood.
A mix between traditional Mexican and American dishes, you’ll see wings and burgers alongside tacos and tlacoyos on the same menu. Dedicated to only using locally sourced ingredients, Cher Mer even employs his own mother-in-law from Mexico City to make tortillas each morning.
Infi recommends: Carne Asada Fries, although their wings have been ranked on Eater Chicago.
Connie’s Pizza
You know you’ve seen their delivery trucks all over town, with the special cab that keeps the pizzas warm.
Truly a Chicago classic, they’re known for deep dish but don’t sleep on their thin crust either. While it wouldn’t be advisable to skip on pizza, when you’re extra hungry consider their ravioli marinara.
Infi recommends: Pizza. What else?
